We take the privacy of your personal data and/or personal information very seriously. This Privacy Notice is designed to tell you about our practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal data which may be collected in person from you, obtained via our websites, including www.curio.space, or apps (together, “Websites and Apps”), or collected through other means such as through completion of an online form, via email, or telephone communication. 5. Data retention

Our current data retention policy is to delete or destroy (to the extent we are able to) personal data after the following periods:

(a) Records relating to a contract with us: 7 years from either the end of the contract or the date you last used our Service or placed an order with us, being the length of time following a breach of contract in which a contract party is entitled to make a legal claim.

(b) Marketing records: 3 years from the last date on which you have interacted with us.

(c) For any category of personal data not specifically defined in this notice, and unless otherwise specified by applicable law, the required retention period for any personal data will be deemed to be 7 years from the date of receipt by us of that data. The retention periods stated in this notice can be prolonged or shortened as may be required (for example, in the event of a complaint, where legal proceedings may apply or if there is an on-going investigation into the data).

In some circumstances we will anonymise your personal data (so that it can no longer be associated with you) for research or statistical purposes, in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you. Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you, and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide you with goods or services). In this case, we may have to cancel a product or service you have with us but we will notify you if this is the case at the time.

Curio does not regularly share information outside of the European Economic Area (EEA). If it is required we will only do so with the relevant protection in line with data protection legislation requirements.

We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate technical and organisational measures are carried out in order to safeguard the personal data we collect from you and protect against unlawful access and accidental loss or damage. We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.
