Design studio Square In Circle creates minimal, geometric lighting inspired by the modernist era. Creative director Alesia Sirokina works in the spirit of Gesamtkunstwerk, combining materials to make each lamp a complete work of art.
We are always looking for something different, something unique… something new. Design is like a time machine that constantly follows current trends.
Square in Circle founder Alesia Sirokina completed her BA (Hons) in Interior Architecture and Design at London Metropolitan University in 2007. She worked for lighting and architecture practices in the city before establishing her own company in 2019.
Square in Circle's designs feature simple, geometric forms that combine in unorthodox ways to create unique statement pieces. The studio’s innovative and expressive lighting designs make use of premium materials such as marble, metal and glass. These materials are expertly crafted and combined with light fittings that highlight their unique character. Founder Alesia Sirokina draws on a wide range of influences including theatre, fashion, music and art, as well as the pared-back aesthetic of Germany’s famous Bauhaus school.
