Nitush - Aroosh’ wall art, mirrors, sculptures and furniture are made from recyclable stainless steel with a lustrous mirror polish that incorporates the viewer’s reflection into the artwork.
The shiny surfaces also evoke the play of sunlight on water, adding a dynamic dimension that enhances the connection with nature. Each piece utilises precision metal-forming techniques and specialist tools to create the studio’s signature crumpled texture. Shalini Misra Design | Handmade Rug Studio, Milan | Curio

Each rug is handknotted using the finest natural Himalayan wool and sourced from the surrounding areas of the studio’s atelier in Kathmandu, Nepal. No machines are used and everything is handmade by expert artisans following ancient traditional techniques. Every rug passes through many hands. The raw materials are first carded and hand-spun by one team, dyed by a master colour expert, knotted by Tibetan artisans and finished by a team of expert craftspeople who shave, trim and bind the final piece.

Premium sealers are applied, including antacid, stain-resistant, water, and oil repellent treatments.

Grounded in the belief to preserve the eternal value and beauty of the stone, Paula and Shilpa partnered with Simeg Marmi, an Italian marble company, to provide their artists access to redundant marble chunks for creative repurposing. Stone Stackers exclusively uses natural stone and minimises the use of heavy machinery in the creation or refining process, instead favouring hand-wrought techniques. The assembling process unfolds naturally and spontaneously, influenced by the distinct characteristics of the broken slabs, preventing precise replication of the pieces.

Beginning with carding and spinning, Katwari artisans layer and transform carefully selected wool into yarn using a spinning wheel, or charka. Yarn is sun-dried and dyed to over 3000 colours and hand-knotted by skilled weavers, a process that can take up to a year. Methodological washing and Gultarash techniques further enhance the rug's quality and finish, resulting in textural masterpieces that showcase the splendour of Persian and Tibetan knots.

Stoneware pieces are moulded and hand-finished; the distinctive elastic "memory" of the raw material requires careful handling to attain its intended shape. Marble designs, including Carrara, Arabescato, and Nero Marquina, are shaped using CNC machines and then left with human hands to guarantee a seamless appearance, as each design originates from a single marble block. Keep an eye out for the reversible coffee table, available in five different marble stones and the whimsical FUUUUSILLO side table, inspired by the duo's favourite pasta shape.

Alireza Sadeh, pursued industrial design in Florence, then ventured into experiential and spatial design.
